In preparation for the Queens Jubilee we'd like to keep up to date with all events happening in and around the Baildon area to celebrate the Queens Jubilee.

Jubilee Craft Session, Saturday 28 May, 10.00am - 12.00pm - The Stocks

Brought to you by Baildon Town Council in partnership with Sponge Tree. Join us in the stocks area to create your very own Jubilee 70 decorations! Children will be able to create flags and banners to decorate their homes and gardens ready for the jubilee. This will be on the same day as the Farmer's Market so it will be a fun morning for all.

Baildon Jubilee Walk and Photo Treasure Hunt, Late May - Wesleys Community Hub @ Baildon Methodist Church

A fun activity for all ages. Celebrate our community and the Queen's Platinum Jubilee by enjoying a stroll around landmarks in the centre of Baildon, at your own pace and whenever it suits you. Starting from The Potted Meat Stick, follow the map to tick-off the photos when you spot where they were taken. Organised by Wesleys in partnership with Baildon Walkers are Welcome, the Photo Treasure Hunt map and clues sheet will be available for just £1 from Wesleys Café in the second half of May and from the Welcome Table at the Farmers Market on 28 May.

Jubilee Photo Treasure Hunt (as a guided walk), Wednesday 1 June from 10.00am - With Baildon Walkers are Welcome at the Potted Meat Stick

Meet at The Potted Meat Stick in centre of Baildon at 10.00am. A walk around some of the fantastic locations in the centre of Baildon. A gentle stroll suitable for all ages, including families with children. 1 mile approx and likely to be finished in an hour and a half. Pre-booking required please.

Jubilee Party, Thursday 2 June from 2.00pm to 4.00pm - Baildon Community Link

This event will take place on Thursday 2nd June from 2pm to 4pm at Baildon Community Link. Tickets are available to purchase from the office after Easter and cost £5.00 per adult and £2.50 per child. Ticket price includes an afternoon tea (sandwiches, a selection of sweet treats), a glass of Prosecco or juice for children and tea/coffee. Hall Royd Brass Band will be entertaining us and we hope to have a couple of stalls alongside a Memorabilia table. Anyone with any interesting memorabilia is encouraged to bring this in to display in advance of our event. We will carefully number memorabilia to ensure it is returned to the correct owner after the event. Please phone us on 01274 588681 for further information or pop in to purchase tickets.

Jubilee Musical Afternoon, Friday 3 June 1.00pm onwards - With Hot Aire and Altogether now at Hallcliffe Community Garden

Bring a chair, relax, and enjoy a free afternoon of music, ukeleles and singing.

Indoor Street Party, Saturday 4 June, 12.00 to 2.00pm - at the St Hugh's Centre, Coach Road

Afternoon tea with a coronation era singalong, royal raffle, regal photo booth, crown making and royal games . Tickets £2, children free.

Jubilee Indoor Street Party, Saturday 4 June, 2.00 to 6.00pm - Wesleys Community Hub @ Baildon Methodist Church

This event will include a concert, quiz, royal photo-booth, prizes for the best costumes, a bouncy castle for the children, and a right-royal tea for all. Admission by tickets (for catering purposes) available from Wesleys Café in May: £5 per adult; children under 11 free of charge.

Jubilee Party, Saturday 4 June, 5.00pm till late - The Baildon Hall Club

Including street party food, quizzes, games, raffles, music and a best dressed contest! Tickets: £10.00.

Jubilee Street Party, Sunday 5th June from 2pm - Bank Walk

Bring your own food and drinks and take part in this FREE Jubilee Party with face painting and a crown making competition for the children, Music, quiz, games and Conga plus much more.

There will be a charity raffle and auction with proceeds being split between The Cellar Trust and NEET people which are two local charities

No admittance fee just bring your own food and drinks
