Baildon Mechanics Institute - grants available

Baildon Mechanics Institute - grants available

The Baildon Mechanics Institute has a modest income available for distribution by the Charity Trustees, in consultation with Baildon Ward Councillors, for "charitable purposes for the general benefit of the inhabitants of the former Urban District of Baildon for which provision is not made out of rates, taxes or other public funds". Leeds Bradford Airport Public Consultation 27 September 3.30-8.30pm

Leeds Bradford Airport have informed us that there will be a public consultation event that will be taking place on Thursday 27 September in the Bramhope Suite of the Britannia Hotel, Leeds Road, Bramhope, LS16 9JJ.

Police - Buck Lane Assault Appeal

Police are appealing for information about an incident which is alleged to have happened in the Buck Lane area of Baildon at about 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday).

A crime of assault has been recorded in relation to this matter and is being investigated by Bradford District CID.

The victim, a 15-year-old girl, was shaken but unhurt.
