A tree planting partnership has been formed in Baildon to enhance tree coverage and help tackle climate change.
Richard Nottidge, a Baildon resident, approached Baildon Town Council with his idea and representatives from Baildon Town Council, the Forest of Bradford and Friends of the Earth have now created The Baildon Tree Planting Partnership.

Fascinating prehistoric artefacts from Baildon's ancient past back on display at the Bracken Hall Countryside Centre

BAILDON WELCOMES THE WORLD
On Saturday 28th September 2019 over 100 of the top female cyclists in the world will take part in the UCI Women's Elite Road Race. The race will come through Baildon, along the Otley Road, at about 11.30 that day . Baildon Horticultural Society will be holding its Annual Show this year on Sunday 1 September at 2pm at Sandal School, Baildon. Come along to support this non profit making organisation that operates to support members in gardening and growing vegetables.

The St Hugh's Centre in Baildon are again running their school holiday free lunch box scheme - free food boxes are available for pre-school children and school-age children entitled to free school meals. Baildon has got its very own UCI Roadshow on Monday 22nd July at 6.30 pm at Hollins Hall Hotel. The event is to share information about the Women's Elite Road Cycle Race which will pass along Otley Road on Saturday September 28th.
The bar will be open, so why not come along and hear all about it! All welcome. Thanks to Hollins Hall for their support and complementary use of the Bronte Room.
