Apologies but this is now cancelled as the organiser is having to self isolate.

Volunteers are needed by a local group for an Acorn and 'Oakling' planting session at Bracken Hall Countryside Centre 10am-12midday, Saturday 21st March. They will be re-using 2L plastic milk bottles, filling them with soil and planting germinated acorns from last autumn plus 1 year old oaks that need more room to grow in bigger pots. These will be nurtured on until they are 2 years old, then planted out under a local tree planting scheme.

No need to register in advance - just turn up at 10am on 21st March at the Bracken Hall Centre if you can spare some time to help. If possible bring robust scissors, a trowel plus empty 2 litre plastic milk bottles if you have any.
