Councillor Vacancy on Baildon Council
WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE A TOWN COUNCILLOR AND HELP TO MAKE BAILDON A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE?
We currently have a vacancy in the South East Ward on Baildon Town Council, which the Council will be seeking to fill by co-option.
This is a process whereby the Council considers applications from interested persons and can then select applicants to fill the vacancies.
If you are interested in becoming a town councillor, please write to the Town Council including a brief resume of no more than 500 words which indicates:
why you would like to become a councillor
how your knowledge and / or experience would help you in your work as a town councillor.
The deadline for written applications is Wednesday 9th May 2018.
Applicants will be expected to give a brief three minute presentation to the Town Council meeting on Monday 14th May 2018 at Baildon Community Link.
