Baildon Town Council has funded £40,000 per annum towards Community Development across the district since 2018 with excellent work in and around the community undertaken Baildon Community Link, St Hughs Community Centre and Hale.

This commitment was for a 3 year period, however with the intervention of the Covid Pandemic, funding was extended a further year and was reviewed by the Community Committee in 2021.

The review took account of work undertaken in the previous 4 years and due consideration was given, not only to the essence of Community Development Work but also the sufferance through the pandemic, in patronage and finance to Baildon's Community Hubs/Infrastructure.

Applications were therefore invited for funding of Community Hubs/Development from 2022 and the successful Hubs were Wesleys, Baildon Community Link, St Hughes Community Centre and St. James Community Centre each receiving £10,000 per annum
