Cllr Ann Foster
I have lived in Baildon for over 45 years. My two sons attended Baildon C of E primary school, Belmont middle school and later Salt Grammar, now known as Titus Salt School.
I worked for over 22 years for HMRC, based at Shipley. My work also led me to become a youth mentor in the wider Bradford community, as well as setting up a work based children's holiday club for HMRC staff.
I lived in Perth, Australia for nearly 10 years and I have also run my own business in Greece. I believe these experiences have enabled me to have a more positive and inclusive outlook towards the concept of community.
I have been a member of the Baildon Carnival committee since 2018. I am the secretary and Parade manager. As a committee we aim to continuously improve the carnival and the parade to provide a great day out for all Baildon residents.
I feel honoured to have been elected as a town councillor and I will strive to represent and support the whole of the Baildon community.
